CIB24 Telephone Identification Code online registration
Do you want to apply for a Telephone Identification Code (T-PIN), or you have forgotten and want to change your existing T-PIN? You can now also do this online.
Why is it important to set the Telephone Identification Code (T-PIN)?
The T-PIN is necessary to enable our customers to identify themselves on CIB24, our 24-hour CIB24 customer service call centre, and thus be able to place orders and receive personalised information.
How can you set your T-PIN?
Logging in to the T-PIN registration page
Upon login to the T-PIN registration page, you can identify yourself in one of two ways:
- If you have a CIB Bank Mobile Application:
- Please open the #withKEY function in the lower right corner on the home screen of the CIB Bank Mobile Application!
- Enter your PIN code consisting of at least 5 but not more than 10 digits or biometric identifier used to log in to the mobile application and to approve transactions.
- Enter your customer ID and #withKEYpassword displayed on the page.
- If you have a CIB Hard Token:
- You can access the interface by entering your username (typically the middle 8 digits of your GIRO account number or the user ID on the CIB Internet-based electronic services request form) and your password generated by your CIB Hard Token device.
- Enter the token PIN code, then generate a login password using button 1.
T-PIN setting/change
Successful login to the T-PIN registration page brings up the T-PIN registration screen.
- This shows your name and CIB24 user ID.
- This is where you can enter your T-PIN or set a new code if you have forgotten it and want to change it.
- After clicking on the Registration button, you need to sign your T-PIN registration with a one-time password generated by the #withKEY token built into the CIB Bank mobile application or with a unique password generated by the CIB Hard Token.
Completion of T-PIN setting/change
- After clicking the Sign button, in the event of successful code setting/change, the confirmation screen displays the message “The Telephone Identification Code has been successfully set”.
- You can use the new T-PIN immediately.
