There has been a significant increase in attempted fraud and abuse through online channels. Fraudsters are using increasingly sophisticated methods to deceive customers in order to obtain their personal information and then misuse it to cause financial loss.
We are constantly taking steps to reduce the risk of potential scam attempts to protect our customers. As part of this effort, we have temporarily suspended access to CIB Bank Online for customers who have been inactive for more than 180 days and have not used the CIB Bank Online interface.
It is important to note that this suspension does not apply to the CIB Bank Mobile App at all, you can continue to use it without any restrictions.
Of course, it is possible to restore the suspended rights for the CIB Bank Online channel. You can set the rights by calling our CIB24 Call Center (+36-1-4242-242) or by visiting any of our bank branches.
In order to avoid online scams and to ensure your safety, please follow the precautions, which are detailed on the CIB Bank website under the subpage Online Safety and Fraud Prevention and on the CyberShield page (https://www.kiberpajzs.hu).
Please be informed that regarding the booked of repeated items due to an international technical error in the Apple App Store, the affected transactions have been settled.

Retail and sole entrepreneur bank account holders with independent control over their bank account, i.e. there is no other owner or holder of the account, can apply for a new registration code for the CIB Bank Mobile Application without the assistance of an administrator in CIB24 client service automat menu system.
- To do this, all you have to do is to click on button 1 in the menu after identification and then on button 2, which is called 'Registration code request and digital channel service'.
- In this menu you can request a new code by pressing button 1, provided that the previous telephone number has not changed.
If the system checks that the code cannot be sent without the assistance of an administrator, you will be informed. Please wait for our colleague to contact you. Please note that there will be a longer than usual waiting time, for which we apologize.
