All that counts! In December 2024, CIB Bank, the Hungarian part of Intesa Sanpaolo's International Banks Division, hosted its most impactful all-staff volunteering program of the year.
In Hungary, it is common practice that if a public holiday falls on a Tuesday or Thursday, the state officially replaces the adjusting Monday or Friday working day with a Saturday. Thus, at the beginning of December 2024, two Saturdays became working days, but the Bank decided to dedicate one of these two Saturdays to voluntary work instead.
On the 6th of December, all 2000 CIB Bank colleagues spent the whole day volunteering for a social or environmental cause of their own choice with their respective department. The activities and locations chosen were very diverse: many people contributed to improving living conditions of children in health and foster institutions, hundreds of Christmas gift packs and Christmas cakes were made for people in need, parks and forests were cleaned of trash, many people helped animal shelters with their work and donations, and some grabbed a brush and a hammer and renovated the premises of NGOs and hospitals.
CIB Bank has a long tradition in engaging itself and its colleagues in various volunteering initiatives as these activities foster employee engagement and boost morale by allowing employees to contribute to meaningful social and environmental causes. Additionally, these programs strengthen community ties, creating a positive social impact.
Thank you to all CIB colleagues for their participation and enthusiasm!
There has been a significant increase in attempted fraud and abuse through online channels. Fraudsters are using increasingly sophisticated methods to deceive customers in order to obtain their personal information and then misuse it to cause financial loss.
We are constantly taking steps to reduce the risk of potential scam attempts to protect our customers. As part of this effort, we have temporarily suspended access to CIB Bank Online for customers who have been inactive for more than 180 days and have not used the CIB Bank Online interface.
It is important to note that this suspension does not apply to the CIB Bank Mobile App at all, you can continue to use it without any restrictions.
Of course, it is possible to restore the suspended rights for the CIB Bank Online channel. You can set the rights by calling our CIB24 Call Center (+36-1-4242-242) or by visiting any of our bank branches.
In order to avoid online scams and to ensure your safety, please follow the precautions, which are detailed on the CIB Bank website under the subpage Online Safety and Fraud Prevention and on the CyberShield page (https://www.kiberpajzs.hu).
