CIB Bank is 45 years old
“Happy Birthday, CIB Bank!” - sang Ms. Andrea Rost, Hungary’s most internationally famous opera singer on the occasion of celebrating CIB Bank’s 45th anniversary with corporate, SME and private banking clients.

Under the amazing scenery of the Museum of Fine Arts, almost 500 guests were greeted by Mr. Pál Simák, CIB Bank’s chairman and CEO, who said that 2024 will be one of the most successful years in CIB Bank’s 45-year history, also in terms of growth, which is a top priority for our bank. In connection with the birthday, Mr. Simák spoke about our parent bank, the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, which is the largest bank in Italy and the bank with the highest market capitalization in the eurozone in 2024. Mr. Simák emphasized the strong background Intesa Sanpaolo’s International Banks Division is giving for its Hungarian operations. Mr. Simák thanked all our customers of being loyal partners in growth, and cordially invited them to continue the mutually beneficial relations in the future.
Mr. Balázs Szabó, CIB Bank’s head of Corporate Division, spoke about his personal emotions about CIB Bank, and its goals to continue caring for its customers in a very unique service style based on mutual respect, understanding and strive for sustainable growth.

During the all-evening program, guests were entertained by art-related programs, and were offered an exclusive private tour in the Museum’s most important temporally exhibition in 2024. The museum offered a great venue for this festive evening, and created a great moment of celebration.
